Ingredients
- 250 g of Brown Sugar
- 200 ml of Cream
- 100 g of Melted Butter
- 150 g of all-purpose Flour
- 1 tbs of Baking Powder
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 3 Egg Whites
- 1 pinch of Salt
- ½ Vanilla Bean
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Cut the vanilla bean and remove the seeds with a knife.
Put the cream in a pan until it boil. In another pan, let 100 g of sugar caramelize.
Pour the cream on the caramel gradually.
In a bowl, mix the butter with the sugar.
Add the egg yolks, one by one, and add the caramel with the seeds of vanilla.
Then, sift the flour with the baking powder and add to the other ingredients.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add it to the previous mixture.
Put it in the mould previously oiled and let it bake for 20/30 minutes.
